Tuesday’s paper has three NFL games in it and another event that took place Saturday. So, we are getting Saturday and Sunday’s news on Tuesday? What about anything that might have happened Monday, like the Duke game?

Why is DOT putting a paved median on U.S. Highway 264 at Asbury Church Road? Seems to me is all it is doing is directing traffic to River Road. It is directing traffic from a four-lane road to a two-lane road. It just doesn’t make sense.

What is the problem with the Christmas lights being out downtown?

Christmas is on Sunday and it is only one day, so why do kids get so much time off from school?

Let me get this right: We sold our old city hall for $25,000. Now we are giving them $150,000 in grant funding. Come on people, where do you think grant money comes from?
