CRESWELL— Mrs. Faye Spruill Swails, 82, of Creswell, died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007 at Washington County Hospital in Plymouth.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Maitland Funeral Home Chapel with Thomas Biggs, Larry Woodley, Phillip Alligood and Glenn Brickhouse officiating. Burial will follow in Philippi Church of Christ cemetery.
Mrs. Swails was born Jan. 28, 1925 in Washington County, daughter of the late Leonard B. and Maggie Sawyer Spruill. She was a homemaker and a member of the Philippi Church of Christ.
Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Furlough, of Hertford; a brother, Eli D. Spruill of Portsmouth, Va.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Sybil S. Jennings and Helen S. Furlough.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8:30 p.m. at Maitland Funeral Home.
