On Sept. 27, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an assault and robbery on Sandpointe Drive, Washington.

The victim reported being assaulted and robbed of his wallet at his home. The victim was transported to Beaufort Hospital, where he was treated then released. Deputies responded to the hospital and to the assault scene. An investigator was called-out to begin an investigation.

As a result of information obtained during the investigation, Investigator Robert Gaskins obtained warrants charging Kendrick Tyrone Grice, 21, of Maple Street, Washington, and Cedric Dominique Pritchard, 20, of Baker Drive, Washington, with one count each of common-law robbery.

Grice was arrested Dec. 8 and held in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $20,000 secured bond. Pritchard was arrested Saturday and held in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $7,500 secured bond.
