Mr. Jerry Lee Smith, 50, of 1090 Old Washington Road, Vanceboro, died Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, at his home. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Oscar’s Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Vandy Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith-Robinson family cemetery, Vanceboro. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Tuesday at Oscar’s Mortuary and other times at the home.
