Mr. Gordon Alpheus Chesson, 93, of Roper, died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011 at his residence. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell, with Edgar Masencup officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home and other times at the home. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell.
