Leslie E. Landeck

Mr. Leslie Earl Landeck, age 60, a resident of Chocowinity, NC died Sunday, January 1, 2012 at U.H.S. Inpatient Hospice in Greenville, NC.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00p.m.Wednesday, January 4, 2012, from the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington officiated by Pastor David Pierce. Burial will follow in Trinity Cemetery of Chocowinity. Scotty Rose, Jr., Scott Gillis, Greg Arnold, Christopher Romero, Ashley Hendrickson and Billy Wainwright will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Landeck was born in Craven County on April 28, 1951 to William Gerald Landeck and Sally Mae Hannah Mills, who survives. He was the owner/operator of the Scooter Pro Shop in Chocowinity for the past 11 years. Mr. Landeck was a very generous person, who loved to cook and was a friend to everyone.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Landeck is survived by his children; Jeremy Landeck and his wife Bonnie of Pinetown, NC and Noel L. Respess and her husband Christopher of Pinetown, NC, grandchildren; Gracie Landeck, Camille “ Cami” Landeck, Matthew Respess and Jamie Respess all of Pinetown, NC, sisters; Mary Rachel Castillo of Winterville, NC and Dale Alligood of Washington, NC.
Mr. Landeck is preceded in death by a brother; Snowdie Mills and a sister; Rendy Sue Harrington.
The family will receive friends from 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington.
