Betty Pegram Sadler, 63, of 760 Main Street, Swan Quarter, died early Thursday, November 12, 2009, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
Born in Washington, N.C. on February 1, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Dave and Virginia Dare Cutrell Pegram. She was married to Larry Paul Sadler, Sr. who survives. Betty served as dietician at Cross Creek Health Care in Swan Quarter until her retirement.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the family plot at Soule Cemetery. Steve Bryan will officiate.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Michael Wayne Sadler and wife, Jennifer of Engelhard and Larry Paul Sadler, Jr. and wife, Melissa of Swan Quarter; a brother, David Pegram Jr. of South Carolina; grandchildren, Michael Dean Sadler, Jenna Ellis Sadler, Gage Sadler and Brittany Nixon; her very special friend, her dog “Girl.”
Betty was also preceded in death by a son, Melvin “Marty” Dean Sadler and a brother, Marvin Pegram.
