Gaston Bell Sadler, 89, of 5491 U.S. Highway 264, Scranton died at home on Wednesday, December 16, 2009, going to be with his Lord and family including Essie Equils Sadler, his wife of 66 years, a son, Thomas Deree, his granddaughter, Heather and son-in-law, Wilson Lumsden, and his parents, Charlie R. and Pearl Harris Sadler, and Brothers, Mack Deree Sadler and Lindsey Warren Sadler and sister, Kathleen McKinney.
He is survived by his daughters, Audrey Dianne Lumsden of the home and Dorinda Guzzo and husband, Michael of Cape Coral, FL; two brothers, Robert Sadler and wife, Millie of Marlboro, NY and Travis Sadler and wife, Christine of Washington; two sisters, Hazel Worthman of Washington and Lucille Jones of Engelhard; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; a brother-in-law, William Equils and wife, Dot of Washington; two sisters-in-law, Edna Equils of Cross Creek Health Care in Swan Quarter and Henrietta Equils of Richmond, VA.
He was a member of Scranton Christian Church and an avid commercial fisherman.
Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Scranton Christian Church. David W. Mason, minister will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Church of Christ Cemetery at Ponzer.
