Mrs. Stella Jackson, 92, of 196 Mackeys Rd., Plymouth died Dec. 15, 2009 at Washington County Hospital.
A funeral will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009 at Shiloh Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) with Elder Daniel Gilliam officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Jackson was born on June 10, 1917, in Washington County. She was the daughter of the late James Chesson and Rosa Norman Chesson. She was a member of Shiloh Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) and a homemaker. She was married to the late Henry “Buster” Jackson.
Survivors include six sons: Louis Jackson, William Jackson, Ernest Jackson, Johnny Jackson, Harvey Jackson all of Plymouth, James Jackson, Charlotte; five daughters: Virginia Hedgebeth, Roper, Ida Jackson, Colerain, Minnie Jackson, Stella Norman, Mattie Dixon all of Plymouth; forty-seven grandchildren; one hundred ten great-grandchildren and forty-six great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday at Shiloh Church of Christ and other times at the home.
