Loyce Smith Godley, age 75, a resident of 5329 NC 33 East, Chocowinity, died Sunday, January 3, 2010 at Beaufort County Medical Center.
The family will hold a private service.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at Hillside Funeral Service, 4500 Highway 264 East, Washington, NC.
Mrs. Godley was born in Beaufort County on December 13, 1934 to George W. and Thelma Bennett Smith who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, Max Godley; one daughter, Leigh Godley of Cudjoe Key, FL; one brother, Delma Smith of Chocowinity; and two sisters, Evelyn Lilley of Washington and Joyce Woolard of Morganton, NC.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Otha and Rayvon Smith.
