Funeral service will be held Sunday 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Eric Crowe officiating. 
Surviving; wife; Sherer Mizell Keel, son; Joshua Keel, Tarboro, daughter; Jena Keel, Tarboro, sister; Judith Tunstall &husband Joe, Washington, NC, nephews: Joe Tunstall, Tarboro, Abbott Tunstall &wife Hillary, Greenville, niece, Jenny Tinklepaugh &husband Eugene, Rocky Mount, great niece, Emily Bryan Tinklepaugh, Rocky Mount, mother-in-law; Edna Howell, Tarboro, law partner &friend: Susan O’Malley, Tarboro.
