Calvin Jehu Martin died on December 24, 2009 in Greensboro, NC. He was born January 24, 1925 to William Henry Martin and Cora Barrington Martin in Norfolk, Virginia. Calvin was a WWII veteran serving in the European theater. His wife, Eleanor Dupree, preceded him in death and he has two surviving daughters, Nan Henkle and Karen Martin. Calvin spent his childhood summers, here in Washington, with his cousins Louis Wilkinson Martin, Sr., Ronald Martin and Dorothy Miller. Funeral services and interment were held January 11th in Greensboro.
