Mr. and Mrs. Frank Williams Jr. of Washington, NC, announce the birth of their daughter Samantha Lynn Williams on Dec. 12, 2011, at Pitt Memorial Hospital.

Samantha weighed 7 pounds, 5.6 ounces, and was 18 1/2 inches long. She has two sisters, Victoria and Caroline. The mother is the former Amanda Dare Alligood.

Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Manfred Alligood Jr. of Washington.

Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Frank Williams Sr. of Washington.

Great-grandparents are Myrtle Alligood, the late Manfred Alligood Sr., and the late Estelle Gurganus.
