Michael Dean “Mike” Woolard, 48, of Washington, passed away Friday, February 5, 2010.
A graveside service will be held Monday at 3 p.m. in Oakdale Cemetery.
Mike was a native of Beaufort County and lived most of his life in Washington. When he was young, he attended Tranters Creek Church of Christ. He worked at National Spinning for more than 20 years and was later employed by Hendrix and Barnhill through 2008.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Jake Woolard and two brothers, Kenneth and Steve Woolard.
He is survived by: a daughter, Misty Woolard of Washington; his mother, Lillie M. Woolard of Washington; sister, Dot W. Buck of Washington; brothers, Melvin G. Woolard of Washington, and Randy T. Woolard of Chocowinity; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will see friends at the cemetery following the service and at other times will be at the home of Melvin and Opal Woolard, 1712 Terrapin Track Road, Washington.
