Mr. James H. Mattocks, 67, of 17917 N.C. Highway 33 East, Blounts Creek died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010, at CarolinaEast Medical Center in New Bern. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday in Zion Hill Christian Church in the Florence community of Merritt with the Rev. James Ingram officiating. Arrangements are by Oscar’s Mortuary, Inc. of New Bern.
