Mrs. Muriel Cofield Birt, a resident of 303 W. 16th St., Washington, died Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, at her residence. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ware Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Ware Creek Cemetery.
