Jeffery Leon Nicholson, 47, of Plymouth died unexpectedly Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at his residence in Plymouth.
Born February 9, 1963, in Beaufort County, he was the son of the late Larry View Nicholson, Sr. and Judi Walker, who survives. Jeff was a forester with Lindsey Harris Logging Company and a member of First Baptist Church.
His family includes, besides his mother, his sister, Kristie A. Nicholson of Plymouth, N.C.; brother, Larry V. Nicholson, Jr. of Roper, N.C.; nephews, Damian Shaw and Jarod Shaw.
Memorial service will be held Friday, March 19, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Plymouth, with Reverend Jimmy Hagwood officiating. Family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall and other times at his mother’s residence. Flowers are welcomed or donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.
