Second-graders at Northeast Elementary School took time during the holidays to learn about Christmas around the world. Students from Debbie Arthur’s class, Tina Phelps’ class and Lucy Crosby’s class were each given a country to research and present a poster with facts about that country as well as how Christmas is celebrated there. Students were also treated to a very special visitor. Fifth-grade teacher Joyce Cutler, who once lived in Australia, shared her experiences in Australia and Christmas traditions there.
