Charity Watson continues to impress in her first season of college softball.
Watson, a former star at Washington High School, is a freshman pitcher with the Pitt Community Bulldogs.
She is 16-4 with a 0.59 ERA this season. Watson has fanned 256 and walked 75 in 143 innings. She has allowed just 46 hits in 27 games.
MEREDITH KNOX
Meredith Knox, a former standout at Washington High School, is playing with the Anderson Trojans.
Knox is hitting .386 with five home runs and 19 RBIs. The senior has five doubles and one triple among her 27 hits. Knox has scored a team-high 26 runs and stolen five bases.
TIFFANY FREY
Frey, a former standout at Jamesville High School, is playing at Pitt Community College.
She is hitting .208 (10 for 48) this season. One of her hits went for a triple. She has scored 15 runs and has five RBIs.
AMANDA BEIRNE
Amanda Beirne, a former star at Northside High school, is playing at Meredith.
Beirne is 4-3 with a 1.96 ERA this season. The freshman has fanned 51 and walked 15 in 39 1/3 innings.
Beirne is hitting .071 (1 for 14). Beirne has scored one run.

Nicole Jordan, a former star at Jamesville High School, is playing with the East Carolina Lady Pirates.
Jordan is hitting .176 (3 for 17) this season. One of her hits went for a double. The senior has scored four runs and knocked in one.

Brandon Thomas, a former standout at Washington High School, is playing with the College of Albemarle Dolphins.
