John Bradley Hedgepeth, age 47, a resident of Charlotte, died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at Levine Dickson Hospice House.

The beloved son of Janice E. Gibson and Robert G. Hedgepeth was born on Nov. 5, 1964, in Hampton, Va. Survivors include his loving mother Janice Gibson of Charlotte; father, Robert Hedgepeth of St. Louis, Mo.; brother, Brett Hedgepeth and wife Suzanne of Washington; nephews, Brennan and William; and his aunt Margaret Matthews of Newton.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Providence Presbyterian Church, 551-C Pitts School Road, Concord, NC 28027. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. prior to the service and a reception will follow the funeral service. Burial will take place at Greenfield Cemetery in Hempstead, N.Y.
