Mr. Herbert Lee Garrett, 71, of 105 Sterling Drive, Plymouth, died Friday, April 2, 2010 at Beaufort County Medical Center. A visitation will be held today from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Puckett-Purkett Memorial Chapel, 300 West Buncombe Street, Roper. A homegoing service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Mount Hebron A.M.E. Zion Church, 512 Madison Street, Plymouth with the Rev. Keith Lane Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Ellis Lee Cemetery. Arrangements are by Puckett-Purkett Funeral Service of Roper.
