Mr. Terry Eugene Fleming, age 50, died Tuesday, April 20, 2010.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Warren Memorial Cemetery, Blounts Creek, conducted by Pastor David Linton and Pastor Vernon Morris.
The following will serve as pallbearers: Fred Porter, Shane Leary, Chris Fleming, Kent Walker, Tim Toler, and Mayhew Banks.
Mr. Fleming was born in Newport News, Va. on August 14, 1959. He was the son of Mary Elizabeth Wainwright Fleming and the late Willie “Pete” Fleming, Jr. Mr. Fleming was a millwright with Trader Company. He loved fishing, gardening and kept his yard in immaculate shape.
Mr. Fleming is survived by his mother, Mary Elizabeth Wainwright Fleming of Blounts Creek; his fiancée, Sandy Hovis of Edward; three sons, Mark Fleming of Blounts Creek, William Poland of LaGrange, Matthew Norris of Chocowinity; one brother, Leroy Fleming of Newport News, Va.; and a sister, Cindy Porter of Aurora.
In addition to his father, Mr. Fleming was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Fleming Boyd.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m.to 8:30 p.m. Friday April 23, 2010 at Paul Funeral Home, Washington and other times at the home of his mother, Mary Fleming, 31 Mary’s Drive, Blounts Creek and the home of his fiancée, Sandy Hovis, 229 Warren Street, Edward.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Terry Eugene Fleming Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 1465, Washington, N.C. 27889.
