ERNUL — Becky Sue Waters Elks, 45, died Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at her home.
A memorial service will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. in The Harvest Temple Church of God in Vanceboro.
Becky, a native of Bath, NC, resided in the Askins community. She was employed with Moen Inc. for 15 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn Jackson Waters and Sandra Marie Sutton.
She is survived by her husband, Carl Lee Elks, Jr.; daughter, Bridgett Modlin and husband, Jeffrey; son, Carl Lee Elks, III; grandchildren, Tolen Pacheco, and Damian and Pryce Modlin; sisters, Patricia Waters, of Washington, Rebecca Waters, of Plymouth, and Wendy Brown, of Washington.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the home of Carl Elks, Jr., 770 Askins Brick Rd, Ernul.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wilkerson Funeral Home, PO Box 2245, Greenville, NC 27836 to help the family with funeral expenses.
