Mrs. Audra Brown Windom, 94, of Roper, died Thursday, February 22, 2007, at Washington County Hospital, Plymouth, surrounded by her loving family.
Born March 29, 1912 in Nicholas County, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Morgan Levi and Ella Coakley Brown and was preceded in death by her husband, Charles George Windom; sister, Pauline B. Frazer and brother, Doyle Brown. Mrs. Windom was a homemaker and member of the Plymouth Church Of The Nazarene.
Her family includes her daughter, Carol June Waters and husband Billy of Roper, N.C.; sisters, Maysel B. McCroskey and Agatha B. Carter of Richwood, West Virginia; grandson, Bill Waters and wife Beth of Roper, N.C.; great-granddaughters, Paula, Hailie and Darby and many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Monday, February 26, 2007, at 2 p.m. in the Plymouth Church Of The Nazarene with Pastor Tim Lichtley, Rev. Edgar Masencup and Rev. Steve Creech officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends on Sunday, February 25, 2007, from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Plymouth Church Of The Nazarene and other times at the residence. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell.
