Maria Serrano

Maria Serrano was born April 28, 1937, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She died at her home in Greenville on Feb. 21. Maria was known as a tireless volunteer worker with Jehovah’s Witnesses. She is survived by her daughters Connie Diaz and Marie Miner of Greenville, Debra Kennedy of Kinston, Desiree’ Serrano of Tampa, and a son, Richard Serrano of Miami. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Richard Serrano Jr., Victoria Diaz and Kayla Serrano. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on 400 Staton House Road, Greenville 27834.
