An audience of about 200 women listen to Dr. Anthony Christiano, a Greenville-based cardiologist, discuss ways they can prevent heart disease. The women, treated to a heart-healthful meal and inspiring message from author, television host and national speaker Zonya Foco, attended the first Heart to Heart luncheon hosted by Vidant Beaufort Hospital and Vidant Pungo Hospital at the Washington Civic Center on Wednesday. The event was part of The Heart Truth campaign designed to build awareness of women’s heart disease and give them the information they need to reduce their risk of developing the disease.
