Mrs. Shirley Jean Harris, 61, a resident of 1251 Maple St., Washington, and former resident of Hampton, Va., died Friday, Feb. 23, 2007, at Beaufort County Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Harris was born Nov. 4, 1945, in Portsmouth, Va. She was the daughter of the late Garland and Lora Bee Frost Gray. She was married for 43 years to Milton “Sonny” Ray Harris, who survives. Mrs. Harris was a homemaker.
Survivors include three sons, David Ray Harris of Washington, Daniel Wayne Harris of Richmond, Va., and William Matthew Harris of Baltimore, Md.; and one daughter, Donna Harris McCloud of Kentucky.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Eagles Wings, 932 W. Third St., Washington, NC 27889.
