Brandon Scott Davenport, age 22, a resident of Bath NC, died Friday, June 11, 2010. A visitation will be held Sunday, June 13, 2010, from 6:00PM-9:00PM at Bath Church of God, located on HWY 92, Bath NC. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 14, 2010 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Hillside Funeral Service in Washington, NC. The service will be officiated by Rev. Nelson Koonce. Burial will follow at Pamlico Memorial Gardens in Washington.
Brandon was an avid outdoorsman, who especially enjoyed water sports and spending time with the many friends he made throughout his life. He was a very caring person and also an organ donor.
Brandon is survived by his father Vance Davenport and fiancé Corinna Cox of Bath, NC and mother Tammy Linton of Greenville, NC; sisters Candace Cobvan and Connie Woolard; brothers Todd Burrus, Dakota Davenport, Jeffrey Taylor and Joshua Davenport, of the home. Pallbearers will be Cody Hare, Terry Cox, Preston Cutler, John Cuthrell, Derek Woolard and Alex Spain.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Hillside Funeral Service of Washington, 4500 Hwy 264 E.
