Mattie Taylor Pegram, 89, of Swan Quarter, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 18, 2010 at Cross Creek Health Care Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; great-granddaughter, Kennedy Ann Pegram; parents, George and Dolly Taylor; one brother and seven sisters. She is survived by her children and spouses, David and Jo Ann Pegram, Barbara Deese, Robert Pegram, Gayle and Sam Sadler, Dale Pegram, Ginny and Tony McGowan, Frankie and Mary Ann Pegram; grandchildren, Russ, Brian, Paul, Steven, Karen, Dana, Samantha, Tracy, Nicki and Frankie J.; great-grandchildren, Jara, Bridgette, Nigel, Brittany, Taylor, Jacob, Kelly, Alex and Taylor.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, 3 to 5 p.m., at Bryan Funeral Service, Swan Quarter.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday at Devotional Gardens Cemetery, Dunn, N. C.
