Mrs. Mary Cooke Childress Kissam, 95, of 359 Turnersburg Highway, Statesville, died Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at Iredell Memorial Hospital. A funeral was conducted June 18, 2010, in the Westmoreland Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Holleman officiating. A graveside service was held June 19, 2010, in Stantonsburg Cemetery in Stantonsburg. Arrangements were by Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home and Shingleton Funeral Home of Wilson.
