Mr. Anthony William Nellis Sr., 67, of 400 Park St., Williamston, died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007, at home.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Williamston Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. David Wyly officiating.
Mr. Nellis was born in Providence, R.I., on Aug. 10, 1939. He was the son of Stephen and Anna Marie Araujo Nellis. He was an Air Force veteran. He worked as a dialysis technician. On June 10, 2000, he married the former Barbara Chapman, who survives. He was a member of Williamston Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include one son, Anthony Nellis Jr. of Shannon; two daughters, Tanya Chapman of Fayetteville, and Jessica Nellis of Williamston; and one stepdaughter, Barbara Blue of Shannon.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Biggs Funeral Home and other times at the home.
