Brenda Haislet of River Walk Gallery and Arts Center (right) presents a check to Blind Center Director Sally Moler (center) and Assistant Director Deborah H. Waters. The check is a portion of the money raised from the February’s Soup-a-thon at the Blind Center. Over 100 people received homemade soup in bowls made by Milton Bland and hand-painted by River Walk artists. River Walk and the Blind Center provided the soup and cookies.
