Mr. Maury Rae Brown, age 84, a resident of 328 Sunnyside Dr., Washington, died Saturday August 7, 2010.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday August 12, 2010 at Oakdale Cemetery and will be conducted by Marty Alligood.
Mr. Brown was born in Trenton, NJ on November 22, 1925 to the late Clinton and Helen Rae Salt Brown. He was a high school graduate of Ridley College of Canada and a graduate of Brown University where he received his degree in Mechanical Engineering. On March 24, 1951 he married Frances Helen Leo-Wolf who survives.
Besides his wife Frankie he leaves his three daughters, Claire Brown Kohler of Horsham, PA, Janet “Jan” Briggs Brown and husband Douglas Schmitt of Granby, CT, Marilyn Rae Brown and Dann Matusek of South Windsor, CT; four grandchildren, Meghan Rae Gleason Pascucci and husband Matthew Pascucci, Timothy Newman Gleason, James Frederick Kohler III, Mollie Frances Kohler; one brother, Clinton Salt Brown and wife Jane of Oxford, MD and one sister Helen Brown Entenman of Fort Meyers, FL.
The family will receive friends following the service at the home.
