Ms. Colleen Currier Harris, 80, of Trent Woods, died Monday, March 5, 2007, at home.
A memorial service will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in Garber United Methodist Church, New Bern, with pastor Powell Osteen officiating. A reception will follow in the ministry center.
Ms. Harris was a graduate of East Carolina Teachers College (now East Carolina University). She taught school in Beaufort, Pamlico and Craven counties. She was a member of Garber United Methodist Church, New Bern.
Survivors include one daughter, Rebecca Badger of New Bern; one son, William Howard Harris Jr. of Apex; one sister, Joyce Sapp of Marietta, Ga.; and five grandchildren.
