Mr. Atwood B. Davenport Jr., 91, of Plymouth, died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010, at Pocahontas Memorial Hospital in Marlinton, W.Va. A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at Roper Baptist Church, Roper, with the Rev. Howard Simpson officiating. The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the church and other times at the home of his grandson, Wayne Davenport. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.
