CHOCOWINITY — Lola K. Tripp, 66, died Tuesday, September, 14, 2010.
Lola was born October 11, 1943 in Beaufort County, NC. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bernice Tripp. She was a member of New Hope Pentecostal Church, Belvoir, NC. She is preceded in death by one brother, George Keech.
She is survived by her four sons; Wayne, Johnny and Martin Armstrong and Ken Armstrong and wife, Kathleen. Her two daughters, Angela Dennis and Pearlie Armstrong; two stepchildren, Tammy Warren and Nathan Tripp. She is also survived by two brothers, Leon Keech and Jerry Wayne Williams; four sisters, Ina Sullivan, Rena Williams, Isabelle Blake and Lois Wooten. She has 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and a very special dog, Faye Faye.
Funeral service will be held on Friday September 17, 2010 at 3 p.m. at Farmer Funeral Service. Burial will follow in the Manning family cemetery.
Visitation is Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
