Vance Clark passed away in Wilkesboro, N.C., on September 17, 2010. Vance was born in Beaufort County on February 15, 1937 to Bailey and Ruby Clark.
He was a graduate of Chocowinity High School and later moved to Virginia to pursue his various business careers later retiring to the mountains of North Carolina that he so loved.
Funeral services were held Sunday, September 19, 2010, at the Lewis Fork Baptist Church in Wilkesboro.
Survivors include wife, Louise Morris Clark; sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Sharon Clark, Tim Clark and Travis and Leslie Clark; sisters, Verona Cratch, Vivian Whitaker and Verla Respess; brother and sister-in-law, Vernon and Doris Clark; eight grandchildren.
