Harold Ross Alligood, Sr., 72, of Huntersville, died October 20, 2010 at Presbyterian Hospital. He was born on February 28, 1938 in Washington, NC to the late Bruce Tyndall Alligood, Sr. and Georgia Mabel Wagner Alligood.
He is survived by his wife Jane Alligood; sons, Harold Alligood, Jr. of Iron Station, James Alligood and wife Edie of Newton, and Richard Alligood of Chocowinity, NC; daughters, Teresa Tryson and husband Patrick of Troutman, NC and Sallie Deal and husband Clinton of Huntersville; brothers, Tyndall, Ronald and Jimmy; sister, Marie and 7 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 23, 2010 in the chapel of Raymer Funeral Home with Randy Pattenaude officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Community Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Stumptown Tractor Club.
