Elwood Gussie Mizelle, 87, of 118 Askewville-Evans Street, Askewville, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010 at his home. A funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Askewville Baptist Church with the Rev. David Crumpler officiating. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery, Windsor. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor, and at other times at the home. Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home.
