The End of Life Care Coalition of Eastern Carolina is sponsoring a free advance-care planning clinic from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Thursday in the Pine/Elm rooms at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville.

A brief educational session will be followed by the opportunity to work with trained facilitators and notaries to complete advance-directive documents, including living wills and health-care powers of attorney. Free educational materials will be available.

For those who intend to complete these documents, please bring a form of personal identification.

The public is invited to attend, and preregistration is not necessary.
