Mr. Kenneth R. Mason, age 70, of 11396 Highway 32 S, Plymouth, NC, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2010 at Washington County Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, 2010 at Washington Assembly of God, Highway 264 West, Washington, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Kenny was born Dec. 11, 1939 in Beaufort County to the late Andrew S. Mason and Fannie Laurel Tuten Mason of Blounts Creek, NC. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donza Mason of Pinetown, on Feb. 5, 2010.
Mr. Mason worked as an electrician in the construction industry until his retirement. He was married to the former Tillie F. Mayo of Chocowinity, NC.
Survivors include his wife, Tillie F. Mayo; a sister, Judy Snyder of Blounts Creek; 2 brothers, Carl L. Mason of Blounts Creek and David W. Mason of Bath, NC; and several nieces and nephews.
Flowers are appreciated or memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
