For the first year, we have crows in our yard. They’re attacking our feeders. How do we get rid of the crows without getting rid of the little birds? Also does anyone have a suggestion as to how to get rid of grackles as well?
Sunday’s comment in Sound Off concerning the costs associated with economic development overlooked the $6.5 million spent on industrial parks and the $1 million paid to two EDC salaries which have created only 34 jobs since 2006. This represents $220,000 per job created.
Is it true that the people who benefit from the restricted voting system — the county commissioners — are the only people who can change the restricted voting system? That is like asking a rabbit to guard your lettuce for you. Changing the voting system may not revive Beaufort County, but it certainly could not hurt.
