Dan Gentry “Seedcorn” White, 75, of 101 Spring Branch Road, died Monday, Dec. 13, 2010, at his home. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Askewville Baptist Church with the Rev. David Crumpler officiating. Burial will follow in the White Family Cemetery, Gurley White Road, Askewville. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor, and at other times from the home. Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home, Windsor.
