James Wayland Elks, Sr., 76, of 215 Williams St., Williamston, died Monday, Dec. 20, 2010, at Williamston Rehab Center. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church with the Rev. Karen Kelly and the Rev. Jim Bussell officiating. Burial will follow in Martin Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at Biggs Funeral Home and at other times at the residence. Arrangements are by Biggs Funeral Home.
