Ms. Vanessa Whitfield of Brooklyn, N.Y., and formerly of Engelhard died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2010 in New York.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Brown Memorial Cemetery in Engelhard.
The family will receive friends at the home of her mother, Elaine Whitfield, 32105 Mattamuskeet Village, U.S. Highway 264, Engelhard.
Arrangements are by Whitfield &Whitley Funeral Home of Washington.
