Mr. Edison Lorenzo “Shy” Spruill Jr., 66, of 222 Kims Loop Road, Plymouth, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011, at First Zion Grove Baptist Church with pastor Ben James officiating. Burial will follow in Toodle’s Cemetery.
Mr. Spruill was born on Aug. 12, 1944, in Washington County. H was the son of the late Edison Spruill Sr. and Ruth Brown Spruill. He was a warehouse manager and truck driver with Baker and Allen building supply.
Survivors include his wife, Lula Rhodes Spruill, of the home; three daughters, Angela Torres, Felita Spruill and Erica Spruill, all of Plymouth, and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Toodle’s Funeral Home and other times at the home.
Arrangements are by Toodle’s Funeral Home, Plymouth.
