I filled up with gas in Washington at $3.53 (a gallon).That was super. In Belhaven, it’s $3.79. Something sure is wrong with this picture.
East Carolina football — it needs to do background checks on its recruits. Maybe it should get a little less talent and more responsibility.
Whoever said the poor don’t pay taxes is nuts. I pay taxes, just like he does, on most everything I do. Whether I pay as much or not, I don’t know, but I still pay taxes.
I just want to know why there is no coverage in the paper at all … about the Kentucky Derby, except for one little entry where the TV part is, and you had to dig and look for that?
I opened my Saturday Washington Daily News looking for Kentucky Derby information, and it wasn’t there.
The driveways at other trash sites are not as bad as the one at Five Points. I know. I have used them. Please, just fix the driveway.
I noticed that there were two right-wing columnists in the Sunday paper, but I did not see any representation from any columnists who are liberal. Doesn’t seem very equitable to me.
