Mr. Jimart Lee Rhinehart, age 62, a resident of Wilmington, NC died Monday, January 24, 2011, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, after a short battle with cancer.
A graveside memorial will be held at 11:30 AM, Saturday February 12, 2011 at Oakdale Cemetery, 180 East 15th St., Washington, NC 27889.
Mr. Rhinehart was born in Queens, NY on December 8, 1948. He was the son of the late Joseph F. Rhinehart and the late Clara Barrington Rhinehart. Mr. Rhinehart was preceded in death by a brother, Franklin Rhinehart. Mr. Rhinehart is survived by many longtime loving &caring friends.
Mr. Rhinehart was a graduate of East Carolina University, and Wake Forest School of Law. He was a member of the NC Bar Association, &practiced law in Wilmington, NC until his retirement in 2006.
Mr. Rhinehart was a board member of The Friends of the Battleship North Carolina in Wilmington, NC and was an active member of the British Motor Club of the Cape Fear and the North Carolina Region of the Sports Car Club of America.
