The environmentalists are what is making our gas prices go up.

The Washington City Council needs to step back and look at its city. People who want to live in the city want reasonable utility bills, low property taxes and streets without a lot of bumps. They will not look at a new police station or new recycling bins.

This is how we are combating high gas prices: We are buying gas to go to work and church. We are staying home at night cooking supper and not buying anything unnecessary at this time. If we all stick together and do that, the gas prices will come down because they will not be selling gas.

Twice this week, I have seen cars fly by a stopped school bus with its stop sign out and lights flashing on River Road. Please folks, let’s protect our children.
