Mrs. Louise Linton Windley, age 92, a resident of Pantego, died Thursday, March 31, 2011, at Autumnfield Rest Home in Belhaven, N.C. She was a blessed person and shared those blessings with all around her. Quiet and reserved by nature, she enjoyed being in her home with her cat, African violets, a good book and the beautiful quilts she had made. Louise enjoyed letter writing and was a wordsmith from the heart whose artful calligraphy made every correspondence special. Her holiday meals would make Norman Rockwell smile, creating precious memories for all. She was a kind, compassionate person, a nurse by education and heart, a devoted wife, the perfect mother and grandmother, and a woman of gentle grace.
